Job Summary

The School of Aeronautics is seeking passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated faculty members to join our Department of Aeronautical Engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education, mentoring students, conducting research, and contributing to academic excellence while preparing students for successful careers in the aviation and aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Aeronautical Engineering subjects.
• Develop and update course materials in accordance with university and industry standards.
• Mentor and guide students in academic projects, research activities, and career development.
• Conduct laboratory sessions and ensure the effective utilization of laboratory equipment.
• Evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, and continuous assessments.
• Encourage innovation, research, and publication in reputed journals and conferences.
• Participate in curriculum development, accreditation activities, and academic planning.
• Support departmental administration and institutional development initiatives.
• Collaborate with industry partners to strengthen academia–industry interaction.
• Contribute to placement, training, seminars, workshops, and student development activities.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Aeronautical Engineering (Preferred for Professor/Associate Professor).
• M.Tech./ME in Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• Candidates must meet AICTE/UGC/University eligibility criteria applicable to the respective position.

Experience

• Professor: Minimum 10–15 years of teaching, research, and/or industry experience, with significant academic contributions.
• Associate Professor: Minimum 8 years of teaching, research, and/or industry experience.
• Assistant Professor: Freshers with excellent academic records or candidates with 0–5 years of relevant teaching/industry experience are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills

• Strong subject knowledge in Aeronautical Engineering.
• Excellent teaching, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to mentor students and supervise academic projects.
• Knowledge of modern teaching methodologies and digital learning platforms.
• Research orientation with publication experience (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with a commitment to academic excellence.
