The School of Aeronautics is pleased to inform all students that Air Works – India’s largest private MRO and aviation services provider (Adani Defence & Aerospace) has introduced the Air Works Cadet Programme.

This initiative comes at a time when India’s aviation sector is experiencing rapid growth, creating high demand for skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) in B1 and B2 categories.

About the Cadet Programme

The Air Works Cadet Programme is a structured talent development initiative designed to:

  • Provide a clear career pathway for AME students
  • Accelerate progression toward DGCA licensing
  • Offer long-term career opportunities across India
  • Provide exposure to commercial, business, and defence aircraft platforms

Key Highlights of the Programme

  • Preference will be given to students who have cleared DGCA modules
  • Selected students will undergo:
    • Hands-on training at Air Works facilities
    • Classroom coaching by expert trainers
  • The remaining DGCA modules can be completed within 6 months
  • Students will receive a stipend during training
  • After module clearance:
    • Eligibility for Type Training Course (Air Works)
  • Students with fewer/no modules:
    • Can also apply
    • Will work full-time at Air Works (lower stipend applicable)
  • All selected candidates will receive:
    • Official offer communication
    • Defined career progression roadmap
  • Recruitment cycles will be conducted every 6 months
