Job Summary
The School of Aeronautics is seeking passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated faculty members to join the Department of Aeronautical Engineering at our Neemrana Campus, Rajasthan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education, mentoring students, conducting research, and contributing to academic excellence while preparing students for successful careers in the aviation and aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions in Aeronautical Engineering subjects.
- Develop and update course content in line with university curriculum and industry standards.
- Guide and mentor students in academic projects, research activities, and career development.
- Conduct practical sessions and ensure effective utilization of laboratory facilities.
- Assess student performance through assignments, examinations, and continuous evaluations.
- Promote research, innovation, and publication in reputed journals and conferences.
- Participate in curriculum development, accreditation processes, and academic planning.
- Organize seminars, workshops, industrial visits, and technical events.
- Collaborate with industry partners to strengthen academia–industry engagement.
- Contribute to departmental administration and institutional development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Aeronautical Engineering (Preferred for Professor/Associate Professor).
- M.E./M.Tech. in Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- Candidates should fulfill AICTE/UGC/University eligibility criteria for the respective position.
Experience
- Professor: 10–15 years of teaching, research, and/or industry experience with a strong academic record.
- Associate Professor: Minimum 8 years of relevant teaching, research, and/or industry experience.
- Assistant Professor: Freshers with an excellent academic background or candidates with 0–5 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Aeronautical Engineering concepts and applications.
- Excellent communication, teaching, and presentation skills.
- Ability to mentor students and supervise academic projects.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and digital learning tools.
- Research-oriented mindset with publication experience (preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic academic environment.
