India’s civil aviation ecosystem is undergoing an extraordinary expansion, driven by historic commercial fleet orders, burgeoning regional air connectivity under the UDAN scheme, and the aggressive setup of domestic Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities. As commercial airlines add hundreds of modern narrow-body and wide-body aircraft to their fleets annually, the demand for highly skilled, licensed, and DGCA-compliant technical personnel has reached an all-time peak. At the foundation of this aviation renaissance are Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) instructors the master technicians, engineers, and educators who mentor, train, and certify the next generation of aircraft maintenance personnel.
If you are a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, a seasoned MRO professional, or an experienced aviation academic holding DGCA CAR-66 certifications in Category B1.1 (Mechanical – Aeroplane Turbine) or Category B2 (Avionics), this is your opportunity to transition your operational expertise into an impactful career in academic leadership. The School of Aeronautics (SOACET) is actively inviting applications for premier AME Instructor Jobs at our state-of-the-art aviation campus in Neemrana, Rajasthan (Delhi NCR).
Joining the faculty at the School of Aeronautics means working at one of India’s most prestigious, DGCA-approved CAR-147 basic maintenance training organizations. As an instructor, you will bridge the critical gap between complex theoretical aeronautical engineering and practical hangar maintenance. You will work with live aircraft, modern functional avionics labs, jet engine test rigs, and advanced flight simulators while mentoring passionate young students preparing for DGCA modular examinations.
By taking on one of our AME Instructor Jobs, you do not merely teach syllabus modules you actively uphold global airworthiness standards and build the technical backbone that keeps India’s skies safe. Whether you bring decades of line-maintenance experience from active commercial aprons, heavy maintenance expertise from certified MRO hangars, or an established track record in aeronautical academics, SOACET provides an environment where your aviation expertise is recognized, valued, and rewarded.
